Gua Sha

Gua Sha, which literally translates to “muscle scraping” is a technique performed using a smooth tool, to gently “scrape” the muscle. This is a very gentle and effective way to break up adhesions in the muscle and help facilitate healing and relaxation. This technique is generally used on localized areas of muscle tension, as opposed to a full body treatment, and can be incorporated easily into a Swedish or deep tissue massage. Perfect for anyone who is looking for deep relaxation and muscle healing, without a deep tissue massage.
